Introduction

Joltz combines Bitcoin, Lightning Network, and Taproot Asset protocols into a single solution that provides developers with an easy way to integrate instant, low-cost, multi-asset payments and swaps into their applications.

By default, Joltz technology is self-custodial, meaning end users retain control of their funds at all times.

Joltz is designed to be modular. Some developers will want everything together, while other developers may have applications that already support on-chain bitcoin and will want to use Joltz to add support for Lightning and Taproot Assets. Joltz functionality is available as an SDK with support for JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin, and C as well as a general purpose API coming soon.

In this current early beta version, Joltz supports on-chain bitcoin and on-chain Taproot Assets with Lightning support coming soon.
